Amaya was born at SeaWorld San Diego in December 2014 to mother Kalia, and she quickly captured the hearts of all who met her. Known for her vibrant personality and boundless energy, Amaya was a joy to watch as she swam and played alongside her pod.
In the wake of this heartbreaking loss, SeaWorld San Diego is providing support to its animal care team, who are deeply affected by Amaya’s passing. The park has also expressed its gratitude to the community for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
